MH1 was established in 2017 by Maddie Hinch OBE shortly after she became an Olympic Gold Medallist, with her now iconic shootout heroics at the heart of their historic Gold.

What began as a single goalkeeping camp has since expanded to include UK and overseas camps, education courses, and world-class resources. We are proud of our reputation for delivering excellence, with recognition as an FIH Academy Education and Camps partner, and our commitment to quality remains unwavering because those in our MH1 community deserve nothing less.

MH1's vision is to accelerate the development of hockey globally, by creating platforms that empower every individual to unlock their limitless potential. Today, that mission extends beyond goalkeepers to coaches and goalscorers too - because together we can help the sport develop faster.

Maddie represented Great Britain and England for over a decade as the nation’s #1 goalkeeper. She is an Olympic, European, and Commonwealth Gold Medallist, a three-time World’s Best Goalkeeper, and now serves as Assistant Coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team as they prepare for LA 2028.
